John Whitcomb

Principal, Founder

John founded Red Mountain Medical in 2009. John was born in Selma, AL and was raised both in Selma and Chipley, FL. He attended UAB where he received a B.S. degree in 1994 and an MBA in 1996. He entered the field of medical sales in 1997 and began his career in medical device sales in 2004. Since 2004, he has represented a number of implant manufacturers including Abbott Spine, Arthrocare, Opus, BME, Pegasus Biologics, OrthoScan, Tornier, OrthoHelix, TJO and Smith & Nephew. John is married to Leslie Gilmer Whitcomb and they live in Birmingham with their two daughters Caroline and Catherine. In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his family.

Lizzie Croom

Business Manager

Lizzie has been the Business Manager for Red Mountain Medical since its inception in 2009. Lizzie graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Journalism and Political Science. She enjoys running, reading and going to the beach. She lives in Birmingham with her husband, Kerry, and their children, Jack and Millie.

Jason Lowery

Regional Manager

Gulf Coast

Jason was born and raised in South Mississippi. He has worked as the First Assistant for an orthopedic surgeon for 9 years; Instructor of the Surgical Technology Program at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College for 1 year and as a full line Sales Rep at Stryker (K&W) for 8 years. While at Stryker he won 3 awards, including 2010 Rookie of the Year. Jason serves as Mississippi State Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Association of Surgical Technologists. He enjoys golf, tennis, building in his workshop and spending time with family. He lives in Biloxi with his wife Tiffany and sons Colby and Caleb.

Casey Custer

Regional Manager

Magnolia

Casey attended Mississippi State University, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Education. He worked for the YMCAs of Mississippi for 18 years where he served as Program Director, Camp Director, Executive Director and Branch Director over the Metropolitan YMCAs. Casey is a Medical Sales College graduate, and he joined Red Mountain Medical in 2017. He and his wife Emily live in Jackson with their two sons.

Heath Davis

Territory Manager

Tallahassee

Heath comes to us from Depuy-Synthes where he worked as a trauma rep for two years. Prior to that, Heath worked for Beckton-Dickinson for four years selling wound care, infusion, catheters, needles and disposables. In addition, Heath has held sales positions with DeRoyal, Acelity and Smith & Nephew. Altogether, he has nearly twenty years of medical sales experience within multiple sectors.

Heath is a native of Pace, Florida and he graduated from Troy University in 1999 with a degree in Business and Marketing. Heath also played baseball for the Trojans. Heath is married to Christi and they have two daughters, Mallory, 13, and Alexis, 8.

Kanon Burt

Territory Manager

Central Alabama

Kanon is a native of Bibb County, Alabama. He attended Samford University where he was a football and track athlete. He graduated in 2012 with a degree in Business Management and Business Entrepreneurship. Kanon comes to Red Mountain from StimWave where he sold spinal chord stimulators and peripheral nerve stimulators for two years. Prior to that, Kanon sold Arthrex products for over two years at Prime Surgical in Birmingham. He has two daughters, Breckan, 3, and Raleigh, 2. In his spare time he loves being with his daughters and spending time outdoors fishing, hiking and mountain biking.

Cuyler Snyder

Territory Manager

Central Alabama

Cuyler grew up in Gulf Breeze, Florida and graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a degree in Medical Industrial Distribution in 2019. He joined Red Mountain Medical in 2018 as an intern, and began working as a territory manager in 2019. Cuyler lives in Birmingham.

Kevin Copes

Territory Manager

Florida Panhandle

Kevin joins us from the world of Pathology sales where he has been working for two years as a sales rep for NCFDNA. Prior to that, Kevin worked with the Brossett Corporation for five years as the Business Manager for their Wound Healing and Hyperbarics Unit. Kevin also has six years of sales experience a Senior Account Executive for Nexstar Broadcasting (NBC and Fox affiliates).

Kevin is a native of West Monroe, Louisiana. He graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2006 with a degree in Business / Computer Information Systems. He is also a 2018 graduate of the Medical Sales College with a concentration in OrthoBiologics. Kevin has lived in Destin, FL since 2013, and he loves traveling, duck hunting and all things water related.

Andrew Cook

Regional Manager

Central Alabama

Andrew joined Red Mountain Medical in April 2021 with over 27 years of clinical and sales experience. Along with working in ortho trauma and as a First Assist, he has been an Orthopedic Coordinator and served as a Surgical Sales Rep for Depuy/Mitek J&J, Area Manager for Ossur America and Account Executive for Hillrom. He is passionate about positive leadership and helping his team achieve personal and professional goals.

Andrew grew up in Springville, Alabama, and attended Samford University where he played football and earned a degree in Nursing. He also holds Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management from Colorado Christian University and an MBA from LSU.

He and his wife Sherrie have three children; Michelle, Dylan and Savannah. In his spare time he enjoys hunting and fishing.
